MINISTRY and FAMILY
At SMMBC, there is space for everyone! Our ministries allow us to stay connected and stay accountable to our faith walk. We keep God at the center and create welcoming spaces to grow spiritually and build community - supporting every stage of life and faith. Each ministry is needed and valuable.
Mission
The mission ministry serves to meet the needs of those within our community. The mission feeds the community both spiritually and physically through outreach, donations, and more. This ministry is open to all ages.
Hospitality
Our hospitality team strives to make SMMBC an inviting place of worship in all aspects. This ministry is open to all ages.
Deacons / Men
Our deacons serve the church as needed and are on the front lines to help. Our men's ministry is growing and designed to bring men of all ages together.
EmpowHERed Women's Ministry
Our women's ministry is for women of all ages to come together in Christ. From bible studies to lunch outings, it is a space for women to connect with other women.
Armor Bearers
The Armor Bearers have been selected to provide support to our pastor. They pray, protect, and assist the pastor (and church) in any way they can.
Social Media
Our social media team is growing and is committed to helping spread the gospel on our social platforms. This ministry is open to all ages.
Music
Our music ministry handles the audio system and ensures services run smoothly. This ministry is open to all ages.
Executive Leadership Team
Our Executive Leadership Committee was selected to assist the pastor in making important decisions for our church. This committee ensures all things are done decently and in order.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees was also selected to uphold the spiritual, financial, and general integrity & growth of the church.
Ushers
Our ushers help to keep order in the church. They welcome people in, help them navigate around, and make sure everyone is comfortable and has whatever they need. This ministry is open to all ages.
Young Adults
Our Young Adult ministry is for young men and women ages 18-25. This ministry gives young adults the chance to build relationships with others their age and journey through their faith together.
Youth
Our Youth ministry is designed to bring kids ages 13-17 together in Christ. We want to give them the space to grow in the Lord and become excited about ministry.
King's Kids
Our King's Kids ministry is for the babies of the church ages 1-12. The children are cared for and taught basic biblical principles in fun, creative ways. All children are welcome to attend to children's church every Sunday.
Silver Treasures
Silver Treasures is designed to minister to the spiritual, social, and physical needs of the senior community at SMMBC. This ministry offers support and activities that will help nurture their relationship with God.
